Toronto, September 15, 2026 – The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) is pleased to announce that Sandbox Mutual Insurance has maintained its support of the Broker Identity Program (BIP) at the Magenta Level.

The sponsorship from Sandbox will support IBAC’s Broker Identity Program (BIP), a national advertising campaign that raises awareness of the significant value that insurance brokers provide for their clients – choice, advice and advocacy.

In addition, their investment will contribute to important IBAC initiatives including IBAC’s technology leadership, professional development of the broker workforce, and our strong and effective federal advocacy to maintain the separation of banking and insurance, which protects consumers and promotes a fair and competitive marketplace.

“Great insurance starts with great advice. Brokers bring the expertise and human connection that turn insurance from a product into real protection for people and businesses,” said Rob Jones, President and CEO of Sandbox Mutual Insurance. “As our industry evolves, Sandbox is proud to continue our support of IBAC in championing a strong, modern broker channel that continues to earn Canadians’ trust and makes insurance simpler when it matters most.”

“Sandbox Mutual’s renewed investment is a strong vote of confidence for IBAC and our efforts to innovate the broker channel and advocate for a strong and competitive insurance marketplace,” said IBAC CEO Peter Braid. “In delivering their products exclusively through brokers, Sandbox underscores the importance of broker-client relationships and the value of getting expert advice to make informed decisions. We greatly appreciate their continued partnership.”
