Red River Mutual renews IBAC partnership for 2026
October 27, 2026
Toronto, October 27, 2026 – The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) is pleased to
announce that Red River Mutual has maintained its support for the Broker Identity Program (BIP)
at the Magenta Level.
Red River Mutual’s sponsorship will support IBAC’s Broker Identity Program (BIP), a national
advertising campaign that raises awareness of the significant value that insurance brokers provide
for their clients – choice, advice and advocacy.
In addition, their investment will contribute to important IBAC initiatives including IBAC’s
technology leadership, professional development of the broker workforce, and our strong and
effective federal advocacy to maintain the separation of banking and insurance, which protects
consumers and promotes a fair and competitive marketplace.
“Insurance brokers play a vital role in helping Canadians navigate an increasingly complex risk
environment,” says Red River Mutual President & CEO, Brenda Gibson. “Our partnership with
IBAC reflects our shared commitment to a strong, independent broker network that Canadians
can rely on.”
“Red River Mutual’s renewed investment is a strong vote of confidence,” said IBAC CEO Peter
Braid. It underscores the important role that brokers play in advising and supporting consumers,
as well as IBAC’s role in advocating for a strong and competitive insurance marketplace. We
greatly appreciate their continued partnership and their commitment to the broker channel.”
