Toronto, October, 2025 – The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) is pleased to announce that Red River Mutual has maintained its support of the Broker Identity Program (BIP) at the Full Partner level.

The sponsorship from Red River Mutualwill support IBAC’s Broker Identity Program (BIP), a national advertising campaign that raises awareness of the significant value that insurance brokers provide for their clients – choice, advice and advocacy.

In addition, their investment will contribute to important IBAC initiatives including IBAC’s technology leadership, professional development of the broker workforce, and our strong and effective federal advocacy to maintain the separation of banking and insurance, which protects consumers and promotes a fair and competitive marketplace.

“Red River Mutual is proud to support the work of IBAC through the Broker Identity Program,” said Brenda Gibson, President and CEO at Red River Mutual. “Insurance brokers are essential partners in building resilient communities- providing policyholders with knowledgeable guidance, meaningful choice, and strong advocacy.”

“We are grateful for Red River Mutual’s continued support of the broker channel,” said Peter Braid, CEO of IBAC. “By standing firmly behind brokers, they demonstrate a deep commitment to Canadians and to a fair, competitive insurance marketplace. This partnership strengthens our collective voice in advocating for consumer protection and expert advice.”
