Pembridge Insurance Renews IBAC Partnership for 2026
May 4, 2026
Toronto, May 4, 2026 – The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) is pleased to announce
that Pembridge Insurance has maintained its support for the Broker Identity Program (BIP) at the
Magenta Level.
Pembridge’s sponsorship will support IBAC’s Broker Identity Program (BIP), a national advertising
campaign that raises awareness of the significant value that insurance brokers provide for their clients
– choice, advice and advocacy.
In addition, their investment will contribute to important IBAC initiatives including IBAC’s technology
leadership, professional development of the broker workforce, and our strong and effective federal
advocacy to maintain the separation of banking and insurance, which protects consumers and
promotes a fair and competitive marketplace.
“Canadians rely on insurance brokers for unbiased advice and access to choice that meets their
individual needs,” says Matt Maloney, Head of Sales & Distribution, Pembridge Insurance Company.
“Our continued support of the Broker Identity Program reflects our commitment to the broker channel
and to strengthening consumer trust in the insurance system.”
“We greatly appreciate Pembridge’s continued investment in our Broker Identity Program,” adds
IBAC CEO Peter Braid. “Their support clearly demonstrates their trust and confidence in the value
that brokers provide to insurance consumers, and their commitment to customer service
excellence.”
