Toronto, ON, October 15, 2024 – The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) is pleased to announce its Executive Officers and Board of Directors for 2024-2025. Appointments were confirmed at the Annual General Meeting held in Collingwood, Ontario on September 26, 2024.

The following individuals were appointed to the Executive Committee:

  • Traci Boland – Chair (Ontario)
  • Mathieu Brunet – President (Québec)
  • Brett McGregor – President-Elect (Manitoba)
  • Jessica Asano – Vice President (British Columbia)

In addition, the following individuals were appointed to IBAC’s Board of Directors for 2024-2025

  • Michele Carver – Insurance Brokers Association of British Columbia (IBABC)
  • Jody Lohr – Insurance Brokers Association of Alberta (IBAA)
  • Jaycee Turtle – Insurance Brokers Association of Saskatchewan (IBAS)
  • Don Normandeau – Insurance Brokers Association of Manitoba (IBAM)
  • Suzanne Pountney – Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO)
  • Michael Bastone – Toronto Insurance Council (TIC)
  • Lucie Fréchette – Regroupement des cabinets de courtage d’assurance du Québec (RCCAQ)
  • James Higgins – Insurance Brokers Association of New Brunswick (IBANB)
  • Rhonda Kelly – Insurance Brokers Association of Nova Scotia (IBANS)
  • Mary Beth McInnis – Insurance Brokers Association of Prince Edward Island (IBAPEI)
  • Bill Buckingham – Insurance Brokers Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (IBAN)

“IBAC’s new Board of Directors brings together dedicated individuals from across the country with a broad range of knowledge and experience,” said IBAC CEO Peter Braid.
