IBAC is pleased to announce its Executive Officers and Board of Directors for 2026-2027

Toronto, ON, October 8, 2026 – The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) is pleased to
announce its Executive Officers and Board of Directors for 2026-2027. Appointments were confirmed at
the Annual General Meeting held in Whitecap Saskatchewan on September 24, 2026.

The following individuals were appointed to the Executive Committee:

  • Brett McGregor – Chair
  • Jessica Asano – President
  • Brandon McGee – President-Elect
  • Jaycee Turtle – Vice President

In addition, the following individuals were appointed to IBAC’s Board of Directors for 2026-2027

  • Rosy Manhas – Insurance Brokers Association of British Columbia (IBABC)
  • Jody Lohr – Insurance Brokers Association of Alberta (IBAA)
  • Joanna Reece – Insurance Brokers Association of Saskatchewan (IBAS)
  • Ren de Moissac – Insurance Brokers Association of Manitoba (IBAM)
  • Shara Bierman – Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO)
  • Warren Griffiths – Toronto Insurance Council (TIC)
  • Lucie Fréchette – Regroupement des cabinets de courtage d’assurance du Québec (RCCAQ)
  • James Higgins– Insurance Brokers Association of New Brunswick (IBANB)
  • Mark Townsend – Insurance Brokers Association of Nova Scotia (IBANS)
  • Tabetha Carr – Insurance Brokers Association of Prince Edward Island (IBAPEI)
  • Bill Buckingham – Insurance Brokers Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (IBAN)

“IBAC’s new Board of Directors brings together dedicated individuals from across the country with a
broad range of knowledge and experience,” said IBAC CEO Peter Braid. “As a united front representing
over 50,000 insurance brokers across Canada, this Board stands ready to meet the challenges and
opportunities of a rapidly changing insurance landscape, while ensuring that we remain a relevant and
effective voice for insurance brokers and consumers.”
